Did you know your teenager’s brain is still “under construction”?

The emotional centre of the brain develops years before the part responsible for decision-making and impulse control. This part of the brain will not fully mature until around the age of at least 25. This is why emotions can run high, and choices that your teenage makes may not always make sense. This is not “bad behaviour” from your tween and teen - it is pure biology.
